TOP FIVE BARS IN MONTENEGRO

Bajova Kula
Morinj, Inner bay of Kotor
The Bajova Kula Bar is considered to be the best in that area, a very relaxing bar on the seafront on the bay of Kotor. Renowned for pontoon swimming, a trip to Kotor often leads to long days dipping in and out of the bay’s waters, which can make for a big appetite come lunchtime. Morinj is a small village on the edge of the bay where swimmers can rest under the wild plum, orange and fig trees before heading to Bajova Kula for a cold glass of Montenegro’s trademark Niksic beer. It is known for its stunning bay on the Adriatic Sea and its well-preserved medieval streets, making it one of the biggest tourist attractions in the country. Of huge historical and cultural importance, Kotor has been listed by UNESCO as a 'World Natural and Historical Heritage Site', and the picturesque city holds a special fascination for visitors to Montenegro.

Vasa Djukovica 24, Herceg Novi, Montenegro, Montenegro. This bar is at the heart of the marina in Herceg Novi. It is a fabulous family café with excellent cocktails and free WiFi.
Hemmingways Cafe and Bar
Budva
Perched on the edge of Budva’s sea wall, children are likely to be drawn to Hemmingways to sample some of its venetian-inspired icecream that Montenegrins rely on to cool down under the hot Adriatic sun. Located just outside Budva Old Town on the promenade, the prices are reasonable and the portions are large. Great place to watch the world go by.
Forza Café
Kotor Old Town
This café is in Kotor Old Town, on the left of the main square as you enter through the main gate. You are spoilt for choice in Kotor with the walled town providing rows of bustling cafes and restaurants, the best time of day to visit Forza is early evening, when the locals are out passing the time and catching up as the weather begins to cool. It sells some of the best cakes in Kotor, to be enjoyed while admiring the town’s old clock tower and planning how you are going to climb the city walls.
