Beautiful villas and housekeeping services

Staying in a villa with your family or a group of friends can be the ideal holiday accommodation. Privacy is guaranteed, there is plenty of space for you to settle your things, they are usually more affordable, great for a big group of people and a lot come with a private pool so no need to get up early to claim your sun lounger for the day!

Explore Montenegro offer guests the services of a housekeeper at an extra supplement and as a holiday is an escape from everyday tasks like cooking, cleaning and washing, this enables guests to stay in a villa and put their deserved feet up.

The housekeeper will come to the villa daily (they stay in their own accommodation) to do a light clean, make beds, laundry and prepare meals, guests can make their own suggestions or go by the recommendations of the housekeeper. In addition, the housekeeper will wash and tidy up after meals ensuring a relaxing evening for the group.

Guests can give their housekeeper a budget for them to go by during their stay, (this is not included in the cost of the housekeeper) so you can also avoid trips to the supermarket when you could be sunbathing/exploring/anything but food shopping.

A week before descending on Montenegro, the housekeeper will send guests an email so they can prepare the first shop and welcome meal for the party on arrival. The housekeeper normally works a six day week with a day off mid week so guests can explore the local restaurants.

This service is available in villas with three or more bedrooms and with their alfresco dining areas; people can have dinner and enjoy the beautiful views of Montenegro’s mountainous coastline.

Here are a pick of top villas that offer housekeeping services and incredible outside dining views.

Montenegro – explored by the stars!

Budva Riviera
In the past, Montenegro has been a hotspot for A-list stars of stage and screen; icons such as Liz Taylor and Sophia Loren were undoubtedly won over by the country’s beautiful scenery and Mediterranean charm, hidden away from the masses and an escape from ‘hectic Hollywood life’. In more recent years, the Bal
Kotor Bay
kan Riviera has reasserted its place amongst the likes of Saint Tropez and Monte Carlo and has once again been the destination choice for A-listers.

Sveti Stefan
Notable visitors in recent years include Beyonce who holidayed in Kotor (along with a string of BMWS, security and other members of her crew) Brad and Angelina swapped Beverley Hills for a Montenegrin break in Budva rumored to have stayed at
Kotor main square
the prestigious Hotel Splendid and most recently Bieber Fever even found its way to the country as JB holidayed there in a possible to bid to claim more ‘beliebers’.

Montenegro has also been the location of many big name concerts including the Rolling Stones, Madonna, Andrea Bocelli and David Guetta as well as Lady Gaga and Elton John who perfomed there in 2012 (although not together, the world is still waiting for THAT collaboration.)

Last September, Emeli Sande travelled to Montenegro to marry her Montenegrin man Adam Gouraguine  in a private, low key wedding in Kotor.

Montenegro's musical talent: Miloš Karadaglić

Miloš Karadaglić is a Montenegrin classical guitarist who has helped boost his country’s profile in the realms of classical music.  Described by The Times as “The classical guitar god” we had the privilege of watching him last week as he graced the stage of the Royal Albert Hall.  He was one of very few soloists to perform in front of a captive audience at one of the world’s most famous venues, playing his guitar with three spellbinding performances for Classic FM live.
The concert on 30th April showcased some of the world’s best classical musicians including flautist Sir James Galway, violinist Jennifer Pike and clarinettist Michael Collins accompanied by the London Philharmonia Orchestra who gave  flawless performances in front of a full audience.
Miloš has taken the classical music world by a storm and was introduced as “rather dashing and incredibly talented” before appearing on stage to perform two solos and a duet with Ksenja Sidorova, an accordian player. Milos gave an intimate performance as he guided the audience through the music accompanied by the Philharmonia Orchestra who helped to achieve an understated and beautiful backdrop to the classical guitar.
Thirty year old Milos is from Podgorica, Montenegro’s capital city.  He picked the guitar up at a young age and having quickly discovering an aptitude for it, he met with renowned classical guitarist David Russell who encouraged him to move to London and apply for the Royal Academy of Music. Milos was awarded a scholarship and subsequently achieved a First Class Honours degree as well as a Masters.
Since graduating, Milos has signed to German classical record label Deutsche Grammophon and has released three successful albums, his debut album Guitar /Mediterrano topped the classical music charts and he has since released two more albums, Latino/Pasion and Latino/Gold. Latino/Pasion earned him the Classic Brit MasterCard Breakthrough Artist of the Year. In 2012, Milos performed a t sell-out debut performances and tours includi ng the UK, France, USA, Canada, Japan, Hong Kong and Australia to name a few. His upcoming performances after England include the Czech Republic, Hong Kong and Japan.
We were thoroughly looking forward to meeting him backstage at the after show party, but unfortunately he’d rushed off , quite understandably to celebrate his 30th birthday.
