Some key villa recommendations


Here is a pick of some of our great villas situated around Lustica Peninsula and Budva Riviera.  Each one  offers spectacular views, easy accessibility and a wonderfully peaceful location. 

Lustica Bay





                                         Villa Santa Barbara - Bigovo, Lustica Peninsula

Villa Santa Barbara is in Bigovo; a quaint waterside fishing village close to where Lustica peninsula and Budva Riviera merge. Its close location to historic coastal towns such as Tivat, the Bay of Kotor and Lovcen National Park provides many opportunities for day trips for those who want to explore further afield.  It is also near to beaches such as Plavi Horizonti, which is one of Montenegro’s most beautiful sandy beaches, accessible from a scenic 5km trail.


Villa Santa Barbara houses up to six people and features a modern kitchen which opens onto a sun terrace, a shared garden with a barbecue and a shared pool with its sister property Villa Santa Monica.

On Arrival… the villa is 15 km from Tivat airport.

Minimarket... Supermarkets are a place we prefer to leave behind once we board our flight however as they tend to be part and parcel of a villa holiday, it is essential that the experience is as hassle free as possible. There is a minimarket less than ten minutes away in from the villa in Bigova village and larger supermarkets can be find a short drive away on the Tivat & Kotor crossroads.

Beaches…As well as Plavi Horizonti, visitors will be spoilt with the choice of beaches on offer which are less than a ten minute drive away.

 Dining out…waterfront tavernas in Bigovo village are less than a ten minute drive away  and Tivat town centre, stylish Porto Montenegro and Krasici are all about 12 km away.

                                           Villa Kabir – Mrkovi, Lustica Peninsula








Villa Kabir is a two-bedroom property where guests can unwind in the private walled garden swinging from a hammock, soaking up the rays and enjoying the sea views and cooling down in the villa’s private pool. This villa is perfect for families as there are two double bedroom and an open plan living and dining area which contains a double sofa bed.

The villa is close to charming little villages where the friendly locals welcome visitors with homemade Montenegrin delicacies such as prsut (cured and smoked ham) and rakija, a Balkan brandy made from plums and locally grown fruits.

Getting there: The villa is 23km from Tivat Airport

Minimarket – 5 minute drive to the nearest mini-market and for larger supermarkets, head towards Tivat.

Beaches – these are a short drive away and their rural surroundings provide great walks for those who need a break from the sun lounger/entertaining beach cricket. Visitors must visit Zanjice, a beautiful long white pebble beach.


                                   Olive Tree House – Mrkovi, Lustica Peninsula





This villa is the perfect sun spot complete with a pool to cool off in, a large patio with a barbeque, a large veranda by the kitchen and an olive tree. Beautiful views aren’t hard to come by in Montenegro and these can particularly be enjoyed in early evenings from the villa’s balcony.

Airport – 45 minutes from Tivat airport and an hour and a half from Dubrovnik airport. Car hire is essential, however with Explore Montenegro this is an affordable and convenient option.
Bank ATM – These can be found in Tivat or Kotor Old Town, approximately a 20-30 minute drive away.

Minimarket – 5 minutes drive from local shops in Rose, various markets offering local delights along Krasici beach and a 25 minute drive to larger supermarkets near Tivat and Kotor.

Beach – These are a 5 minute drive away to some of Montenegro’s best beaches including Zanjice and Mriste.

Restaurant – There are several tavernas in Rose, a five minute drive away and Zanjice offers a choice of beach front restaurants, also a 5 minute drive away.

                                          Guest House – Klinci, Lustica Peninsula




Klinci is a peaceful village on the Lustica Peninsula and is characterized by picturesque old stone buildings.  The Guest House sleeps 4 and boasts authentic Montenegrin architecture. Outdoors there is a shared terrace and pool and stunning views overlooking the sea and surrounding olive groves.

With such rural surroundings, visitors can make the most of local ingredients from farmers and small holders producing cheese, cured ham and wine. The area is a great blend of coast and culture, Kotor Old Town has plenty of cultural heritage and character with narrow alleyways lined with quaint outdoor cafes and several churches to explore and Lustica’s long coastline offers an escape from the summer crowds.

Airport – 30 minutes drive from Tivat airport and an hour and 15 minutes away from Dubrovnik airport.

Bank ATM – 15km from Guest House and in Kotor Old Town and Tivat.

Minimarket – 10 minutes dive away to the nearest mini-market.

Beach – Miriste and Zanjice are a 5-minute drive away.

Crna Gora Villa – Lapcici, Budva Riviera






Crna Gora Villa translates as ‘Montenegro Villa’ and is a restored two-hundred year old building set in the hills above Budva with panoramic views,  yet close enough to enjoy the town’s beaches, restaurants and nightlife.  

The house is full of character and is split over three levels with a farmhouse-style kitchen and the large outdoor terrace with a shared private pool and is the perfect spot to unwind, away from the hustle and bustle of busy Budva.
